My name is Brandy Reincke. I am a Communications major at Indiana- Purdue University. I am currently enrolled in some very challenging courses. I am taking a mathematics course and my final semester of Spanish. In addition, I am also exploring the fine study of philosophy for the first time. Typically, I take courses that somehow complement one another, but as I am trying to eventually graduate I felt that it was time to tie up some loose ends with required courses.
In addition, I teach preschool and have a family. I am married to a wonderful man, Scott. He is a restaurant manager here in sunny Warsaw. I have two children, Spencer; my stepson is ten years old. My daughter’s name is Madison and she is four years old. She goes to preschool and is learning so much just like mommy and bubba. Spencer lives with us full time so; I really have my hands full with a very hectic life.
As far as hobbies are concerned, I have a few. I am currently taking a correspondence course to write children’s books. I love to play my Nintendo DS that my children gave me for Christmas. I have been doing some free reading lately. I am reading, “For one more day” by Mitch Albom. He is my favorite author. I also began reading Deborah Tannen’s, “ You Just Don’t Understand” over Christmas break. I am really enjoying both of these books.
My family has ten pets, three dogs, one cat, two birds, two turtles, and two fish. We are real animal lovers. I really do enjoy having all of them as I do spend quite a bit of my time at home. I was on a bowling league last year, but was unable to continue this year due to scheduling. However, my team did win our league championship. Finally, I am grateful and excited about this course. I am eager to learn more about technological navigation and building career skills.
